Community Dinner at Tap Inn, Wintonbury Hills Golf Course - Saturday June 4th at 6pm. Multiple buffet entree choice, music, beer & wine included (cash bar as well), raffle and more! $30pp - Tickets NOW available, at Town Hall Manager's Office, Prosser Library, Leisure Services & Wintonbury Hills Golf Course. Special guest - Actress/singer and BHS grad Anika Noni Rose!!! Support your town and have a blast at the same time!

SPECIAL GUEST - SINGER/ACTRESS ANIKA NONI ROSE will also appear at Bloomfield High School on Friday, June 3rd at 10:30am** (public invited) and at the Community Dinner on June 4th! Anika, a former BHS student (1986 - 1990), has appeared on stage and screen, including the ABC Television series Private Practice, on film in Dreamgirls (among many others) and as the voice of Tiana in Disney's The Princess and the Frog! Poetry Event at Prosser Library from 12 noon to 4pm on June 4. Readings by and from local poets (already 20 or more!), reading of submitted poems and "Open Mic" in the Community Room! Click here for more details...Poetry about Bloomfield wanted!!!

Lead-off Thursday Concert on the Green Series featuring the Bloomfield High School Choral/Music department and (tentatively) the Hartt School of Music, Thursday evening, June 2nd - 6pm

Narrated Historical Bus Tours of Bloomfield by the Wintonbury Historical Society on Sunday, June 5 from 12noon to 4pm. These "sold" out last year - first-come, first-served. Very popular event! While there, stop in the History Center to see the exciting displays. Come learn the rich history of our beloved town, Bloomfield! Full description here!

Sacred Heart Church's Community "Give back day" -  Friday, June 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. rain or shine (tent provided!). as part of Celebrate Bloomfield.  The Wilcox Brother's  band will be playing the best music from yesterday through today - music the whole family will enjoy! Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy a great evening of music under the tent in front of the Parish Center.  Food  will be available for purchase or bring your own dinner. Print a flyer here!

"Knit in Public Day"!  KNITTERS UNITE!! As part of Celebrate Bloomfield, the "Knit in Public" event will be held at Prosser Library on Saturday, June 4th from 11am to 1pm. Join Bloomfield Senior Services and Leisure Services in a fun filled "create your very own work of art" paint night party!  Make it a family event or bring a friend. No experience necessary. We will provide supplies; Multi-media Exploration instructor Dolores Howard will explain what to do and you will go home with your original work of art!  Register at Leisure Services or The Senior Center OR online at www.bloomfieldrec.com. Town Center Walk / Talk - 10:00am, June 4,2016 

The Tour will lead off with a brief discussion of Historic Settlement Patterns, waterways, and trade routes in this part of CT. It will then cover the Historic Town Center / Roberts Green, how transportation systems developed the center, then continue to the historic Wintonbury Cemetery, Filley Park and complete a walking tour of the historic buildings in Bloomfield Center...Join us!!!
